Little Giant #2 didn't make it past 10 weeks 4 Days gestation. Wednesday the 10th, I visited the Urgent Care (that is an awful story in itself) for 7 hrs due to some light spotting and cramping. It wasn't bad but the nurse said to go anyway just to be on the safe side. Anyway over the next 2 days the Spotting continued so I found a NEW amazing Dr. She had made a follow-up appointment on Friday the 12th. All was still looking OK my cervix was closed an there was still baby inside.
Well Sunday morning I woke up with bad cramping and bad bleeding. I went to my new Dr's. emergency hospital 20 minutes away. WE, myself, Stephen and Sean, arrived about 9ish (I don't really remember it could have be 8). I was seen right away my Dr arrived within in 30 minutes and checked I was dilated about 1 cm and lost a lot of tissue.
I was Rushed to Surgery only about an hour after I arrived I was in the O.R. to remove the rest of the tissue. I had a D&C and went home around 2:30. I am feeling OK, I think it helps to know and trust your Dr. to know what they are doing. So we have been told to wait about 3 months before we "try" for another baby but I think it'll happen when it happens. We are in no hurry to replace LG#2.
I've had a lot of online friends and local support this past week and I thank all of you who have been there during this difficult time.
