Just call us the Clampetts

We returned the the swamp cooler and got an actual portable A/C unit instead. Our house was hotter inside than it was in the garage. We were lucky Lowes took it back. Stephen turned the box into a FORT this morning for Sean so there were doors and windows cut out of it. But it wasn't an issue and the workers just laughed when they saw Sean. He loves to lay down on the flatbed carts and say he is flying like Superman.

We made it to the local "zoo" today. We got there when it opened and 2 hours later we walked the whole thing and went on all the rides and played on the Giant play structure for a while. So that tells you how big it is. Sean walked the whole thing with no problems. It got too hot anyway so 2 hours was perfect.

So, on a side note, Sean is starting to speak in complete sentences now and using his Sign Language more often when speaking to me. But he surprised Daddy this morning when he said  "I need more milk." Everyday we are more and more worried about college tuition.

I wish I could remember all the other funny stuff Sean did today but I think the heat zapped my memory.

**SPEAKING OF NOT HAVING A MEMORY **
My title of this post doesn't make sense if I don't tell you why I made that the title.

So, the A/C unit it supposed to have a place to vent outside usually normal people use a window. But if you know us we are FAR from normal people. While Stephen was in the house setting up the A/C I cleaned out the truck while Sean drove (pretended to drive). If you go look at it it doesn't look much different than when I started because all the stuff that I put away in the pockets were thrown back out onto the floor before we got out. Anyway, I walked into the house and noticed the A/C wasn't anywhere near a window instead Stephen had vented it out the chimney. Now that is some smart thinkin' there! We can have the unit in the living room and actually enjoy the cool air!
